The Perfect Piece of London
BURBERRY
Honestly, is there anything more iconic at the moment then Christoper Bailey's creative direction for Burberry Prorsum. I think not! He weaves Victorian beauty and classicism flawlessly into the very fibers of the fabrics with which he uses to construct these romantic, and yet, simplistic forms. Everything seems so casual and easy while maintaining a high level of sophistication. I especially love the snood scarves and the shirts for men with the attached drooping bows. I have already bought a black snood from H&M for about $15 and I plan on splurging on a great tied shirt from TOPMAN LTD. If you need anymore convincing that Burberry is the best label this fall, consider this, Hermione Granger is front and center for the ad campaign. GODDAMN!!! Bailey, most definitely, knows what looks hot, even when the weather is getting bitter...

A Foggy Day...
Well my friends, after five long weeks in London and two attempts to create a worthy blog I have finally settled with this my latest endeavor (so says he who has already deleted multiple failed attempts.) I have been trying to create my own space to collect little novelties and inspirations of fashion, music, and what I would like to think is culture. Along with this, one might find tiny insights into my everyday - or rather - minute moments which I deem worthy of bringing into the den.
At this time I am in one of the fashion capitals of the world and am enjoying almost every breath I take. I say "almost" because there are sometimes when even breathing is out of my budget. Money does indeed rule the world $$$, but I still find little bits of charm, lingering among the litter, as I walk the streets. Part of me wants to document the past five weeks of being here, but that would be a false representation of time and I don't think I could accurately describe my thoughts in hindsight. So, without any further delays, welcome to the den.
P.S. Who's excited for the new Wes Anderson movie?
